Questions, answered

How is AP Precalculus different from regular precalculus?

AP Precalculus follows the College Board framework and ends with a standardized AP exam in May: 42 multiple-choice questions (29 no-calculator, 13 calculator-active) plus 4 free-response questions. The pacing and question style are specific — we train you on exactly that format.

Which units does the practice cover?

All four: Unit 1 (Polynomial & Rational Functions), Unit 2 (Exponential & Logarithmic Functions), Unit 3 (Trigonometric & Polar Functions), and Unit 4 (Parameters, Vectors & Matrices). The AP exam tests Units 1–3; Unit 4 is course material we cover for class grades.

How do the practice drills work?

Pick a unit and start a drill: 5 questions, one click per answer, instant feedback with a step-by-step explanation after every question. Your score and every attempt are tracked on your dashboard. Timed sets mirror the AP multiple-choice section when you want exam-day pressure.
